Keri-Lynn McKeown Horsemanship

While in some ways life during a pandemic has been calmer and less hectic there has still been quite a few exciting things happening over here! We welcomed our second born into the world in March. Owen Patrick McKeown was born at home just as the province was closing down. He has been such a bright light in our lives! Even with a newborn and very active toddler at home I have still made time to begin making plans for this year. With spring well under way and summer approach...ing we have been making plans to continue upgrading the facility, horses are being developed and my own personal horsemanship and education continues to advance. Some really exciting things are coming this year, including finally getting my outdoor arena built! While recently my time has been dedicated to my family, personal horses and contemplating what the rest of the year will look like I am still looking for ways to best serve my current students and new ones! So don't hesitate to contact me if you have any horsemanship questions, suggestions for ways to best support you, or just want to say hi! For over seven years I have been honoured to share in many of my students successes and memorable moments. Each one has their own story. Each triumph special, every breakthrough meaningful. My greatest joy comes from sharing my passion and love for horses with others, especially this little human. The smile on his face perfectly demonstrates how amazing these animals make us feel. Both on the inside and outside!

It was a beautiful day to continue this young mare's journey! I have been here at Extra Mile Equestrian Centre this week focusing on my horses and taking advantage of some nicer weather! I hope you all have been able to get out with your horses this week as well!
