The I Have A Dream Project was inspired by the Black Lives Matter Movement and was created in Honor of Juneteenth (Freedom Day). This is a mission project by @tenikadavis1, one of the strongest individuals I know. As Nina Simone once said, It is an artist’s DUTY to reflect the times. In that vain, this project is a modern reinterpretation of the I Have a Dream Speech that was delivered by American civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. ... the March on Washington which took place on August 28 1963. During this speech, he called for civil and economic rights and also an end to racism & segregation in the United States. It still remains to this day, one of the most iconic speeches in American History. Today, we are attempting to bring this dream alive with the collaboration of actors from diverse backgrounds, age, race, sexual orientation and countries. Everyone put their own unique cadence on the words originally spoken by Dr. Martin Luther King. We are attempting to display unity and the fact that we are all more alike than different. Actor's use the words of this iconic speech to create a personal emphatic monologue while adding a unique modern spin. Through this visual representation, we are hoping to continue to inspire social justice reform and simulate conversations that address systemic racism on a global scale... times have changed but the message remains the same! The dream of one American hero, now lives in the hearts of people from all over the world. Thank you Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for giving us the words and a dream that continues to inspire us. Today I'm celebrating my grandmother's life. I remember her as a kind, creative, stylish and a woman with a good sense of humor...which I may have inherited. She instilled decency and that there's nothing better then a good quality purse. I am grateful she attended my wedding and for her advice. I know she is watching down on her family as we think of her fondly and sometimes cry but mostly smile for having her in our lives. See you on the other side Grandma! Love you

Got to race the @usasasnow 2nd annual banked slalom fundraiser with this dream team. Local legend @giri_watts, 2022 Olympic hopeful @sennaleith and Paralympic 2 time medalist @evan_strong. Our team took 3rd against the world cup alpine racers and the hometown favorites and yes I will claim 2nd fastest female, only by milliseconds behind a world cup alpine racer. Thank you to all who put on the race!

Practicing balance with eyes closed, stepping up the challenge with standing on a fence. A good mid run break exploring Wengerholm Park and taking in views
