Due to COVID-19 the following procedures will be in place to ensure the safety of you and your families: We will be practicing social distancing, meetings will be primarily done through phone, email and zoom calls, as our office space will be closed to the public. Payments can be made by mailing cheques, e-transfers or through safe distance we can do an exchange outside of the office doors.... We will still continue to do any soil testing that is needed, field assessments, etc. While continuing to follow the social distancing protocols. For seed pickup/deliveries we ask that you refrain from entering the storage facilities and/or our trucks/equipment to limited any exposure. Please let us know if you have any concerns or questions!

Here’s two pictures taken today on a couple row crop fields after two inches of rain. The first picture represents tillage, high use of synthetics, and fallow. ...The second picture is one of my farms that represents no-till, cover crops, and cattle. As you can clearly see one of the farms is infiltrating more water and holding the soil together through its aggregate stability. The other farms soil is eroding away. The same goes with these fields nutrients. I know that we have had record rainfall in our environment in the past 1 1/2 years. That being said, we can hold the water in our soil profile for when it does get dry. Keeping a living root on your farm is so important for this system to work. If anyone has any questions about how to help their water and carbon cycle on their farm, please feel free to contact me.
