The Team Woo Yong colour best test was held last Saturday at Woo Yong's TKD. They did their best and got a good result! I am proud of our students. Thank you for your effort!

IMPORTANT NOTICE for SPARRING CLASSES As you know, new restrictions have been applied since last Saturday. Only 25 people (include instructors) can attend each class.... Therefore, we MUST divide groups for sparring class like below. 5 PM class : Yellow Stripe to Green Stripe 6 PM class : Green to Black Also, all parents can not stay inside. If restrictions are relaxed again, you can attend any class from then on.

I have delivered the calendars for students who have enrolled in our school for more than a year(Usually over the orange belt). These calendars were designed to be kept for a long time by putting personal photos. I hope to make calendars for more students next year. :) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I have received the Gold medal and Certificate from Taekwondo Canada. This medal means that I won the first online Poomsae competition held in Canada. Thanks to Grandmaster Jung and our K-Top family.

New signs and flags for New School! I had ordered new sings and printed flags from Korea 2 weeks ago. Finally, it was delivered!... Benner and a small sign will be inside of entrance and flags will be attached to the mirror in the studio.

At the end of last month, the Korean Ambassador's Cup Online Poomsae Championship one of the official Taekwondo competitions in Canada was held. Many competitors participated and I also participated in this competition and thanks to all of you, I won first place. New time table during the summer season.

Today, there are total of 1,061 confirmed cases in Nova Scotia. However, this does not mean that as many patients are in Nova Scotia. Excluding the number of people recovered and those who died, only two are patients. * Recovery 997, ... * Deaths 62 997+62=1,059 * 1,061-1,059 = 2 * 2 people are patients but they are in the hospital. As a result, it is almost very rare that you encounter patients on the street or shopping malls. I expect we can live a normal life soon.

Today, we have started TKD classes! We sanitized all around(chairs, doorknob, table, and so on) after that, we trained Taekwondo, maintaining a social distance among students as well as instructors. We are very happy that students can train TKD even in difficult situations. Thank you so much!!

Ready to reopen!! We cleaned and painted the TKD school for reopening. And for students social distance, yellow dots are marked. Students will use 4 spaces as their own space around the yellow dot. Also, we have prepared sprayers and disinfectants to disinfect equipment and hand sanitizer for student hygiene.... I challenged Sports Nova Scotia about preventing students from drinking water during training and waiting for a reply. See more

Hello, our Team Woo Yongs family!! We have been unable to come to TKD school for a longer time than we expected. I want our students to keep their health through TKD training at home! ... We will update around a 10-minute video on YouTube 2 or 3 times a week. Please take a video yourself and post it on Facebook and you should share it with Woo Yongs and K-Top Facebook. If you practiced taekwondo by yourself regardless of the YouTube video, we updated, please upload that video too. If you update additional videos it will be an extra score to evaluate your performance. Grandmaster Jung and Master Jo will pick out the best students every week and give them Taekwondo T-shirts or souvenirs. Today, Anna won 2 gold medals in the provincial TKD competition that was held at the East Antigonish Education Centre. Especially, Anna fought with the boy in sparring who he is more than 10 kg heavier than Anna and he was a youth champion in the Canada national game. It was an exhibition game, not an official game. This is because there were no black belt girl competitors to do sparring with Anna, so she wanted to fight with a boy.... Im proud of her challenge, regardless of win or loss. THIS IS TAEKWONDO SPIRIT!

New Dobok(uniform) design!! Because some size uniforms were out of stock, I changed or modified some designs when placing a new order. 1. Add a new TKD logo on right arm. 2. Change text under flags 3. Add K-Top name on the backside.... 4. Change text colour on the leg(Blue to Black) The newly designed dobok will be used after the existing stock is exhausted. But some sizes have already been replaced by new designs.

New Time table From 14th Oct. 2019, the new time table will be applied. 1. K-Top make new Little Tigers class(Divide into 2 classes) There are many little tigers students in K-Top. For effective training TKD, I will divide into 2 classes for young kids. I will just accept the maximum of 12 students each class... Class 1: Tuesday at 5PM, Wednesday at 5PM, and Friday at 5PM class - It is the same as now. - If there are over 12 students, new students cannot enroll in this class. Class 2(marked pink): Monday at 6PM, Wednesday at 5PM, Saturday at 10:20 AM. Students cannot attend another time class. 2. Monday High performer class will be moved to Tuesday. Before: Monday 6 PM After: Tuesday 6 PM

Anna won a gold medal in the Canada Open TKD competition. It was one of the hardest games for Anna, so she could win in overtime.

I won a silver medal in Canada Open International Competition. This is my the first international competition so I was a little bit nervous. Today, There is a Xavier TKD competition at East Antigonish Education Centre. K-Top TKD students participated in this competition and got great results(3 Gold medals and 4 Silver medals). Blake Gold Medal... Caio Gold Mdeal Evan Silver Medal Niranjan Silver Medal Nirupama Gold Medal Sam Silver Medal Riley Silver Medal (First name alphabetical arrangement) They are training TKD only for 4~5 months, but they did their best and got great results. I did not think that they would do well like this. I just wanted to do their best and I hoped this tournament would be a good experience for them. I am proud of them!! Thank you for your efforts!!

Morning Acrobatic class!!

Elite High Performer Taekwondo Camp conducted by Woo Yongs TKD. Last Aug. 3rd ~ 4th, about 30 players who will be champion soon trained sparring techniques with coach Park. Acrobatic class OPEN!! This Saturday, the first acrobatic class will be open at 9 AM(at the K-Top TKD). Teacher is Dakota who one of the best teacher in Halifax and some students have already taken her classes.Her acrobatic class is very popular with students, many students want to take a her class more, so she will start acrobatic class on Saturday.... This class is open to other people as well as K-Top students. If your child want to attend a class with friends please come here together. She will open acrobatic class 2 or 3 times a month, this is because she works at Super Store as a part time job. Therefore, she will let you know when she can open a class after class. Lesson fee is $ 10.00(cash only) per hr, you have to pay every time to her when your kid attend a class.
