The Senufos spread throughout the north of Côte d'Ivoire between the 10th and 15th centuries. Along with the Mande and the Kru, they are one of the oldest peoples in the country. Their geographic origin is in eastern Mali and the border of Burkina Faso with Mali. The Sénoufos, a West African population, are mainly settled in Burkina Faso, in the south of Mali and in the Ivory Coast. These farmers traditionally cultivate rice, millet, corn, cotton, shea butter, mango and tea. ...~ Les Sénoufos se sont répartis au Nord de la Côte d'Ivoire entre le Xe et le XVe siècle. Avec les Mandés et les Krous, il est l'un des peuples les plus anciens du pays. Leur origine géographique serait l'Est du Mali et la frontière du Burkina avec le Mali. Les Sénoufos, population d'Afrique de l'Ouest sont principalement installés au Burkina Faso, dans le sud du Mali et en côte d'Ivoire. Ces paysans cultivent traditionnellement le riz, le mil, le maïs, le coton, le karité, la mangue ou encore le thé.
