Here we go- Round two and hopefully the last time we will close the salon down again! Thank you for all the phone calls and messages we have received today! As you can imagine we are overwhelmed with phone calls and trying our best to accommodate. For the time being anyone currently booked in from now until Saturday, you will receive a call to confirm your appointment. Once we confirm existing clients (booked till Saturday) we will chronologically call clients booked for next... week and possibly offer you an appointment if we have any available. We have extended our hours to try and get as many people in as safely as possible while still adhering to the mandated guidelines! All appointments booked Dec 13 onwards will automatically be cancelled and put on a priority call list for when we reopen again. Thank you so very much for the support, love, concern, care we have received this last 9 months of being open. Its officially been 1 week since we have reopened and it feels SO GOOD to have our girls back!! Seeing all our amazing clients again has been so awesome! Please call to book an appointment as trying to get in last min will be a stroke of luck or get on our waitlist for last min cancellations! Mandatory masks-client and nail tech, protective eyewear for nail techs and face shields available upon request for clients. 2M Distance between nail stations and plexi barriers between pedi station, no food or drinks, very strict, systematic check in/out process- disinfecting phone and items brought in and thorough disinfecting of all surface and tools after every single client. OPENING SOON The Alberta govt has given the green light to open phase two June 12 but we need some time to finalize the logistics, organize our schedules and have time to officially call all of our clients to rebook and touch base. Our hours of operation will change so all existing appointments may need some adjusting as well. Since the official announcement, we have been overwhelmed with phone calls and emails (thank you for your excitement) so please know we are busy working on getting back to everyone! For any NEW clients to the salon we will have to put you on the waitlist as our existing clients/cancelled appointments will be our priority to book in first. Hi Kumi Beauties Its been a hot minute... or two since we have posted an update! Our sister business Ivory Noir Salon was opened in phase 1 and we are happy to report our new safety protocol system is working well! To have the opportunity to test run and work out the kinks of how to protect everyone that visits our salon has been great! We are currently working on preparing Kumi for reopening. We are organizing our call back lists and waiting for the official date from t...he Alberta government to be released. PLEASE NOTE: Alberta nail salons were always in phase 2, if there are nail salons, nail technicians doing nails now- they are actually not suppose to. Its officially 4 weeks since we have closed now and the emotions have definitely been highs and lows! Im sure everyone has been in and out of their heads, overthinking, worrying, feeling anxious, unsettled and on and on with all the other yucky emotions! I have def had a few ugly cry moments lately and you know what it felt good to release it all, reset and jump start my mindset again! I wanted to share the rawness, the vulnerability from one human to another- its an absol...ute must to break down and FEEL- its only through these breakdown moments that we can build strength and faith to get through these challenging times!
