Meet Alma! She is a 9-year-old Kumon Student who has been enrolled since the age of 4. She is currently studying above grade level in both math and reading! Alma knows that Kumon has not only helped her with her current studies but has helped her excel ahead. Kumon has helped me academically by showing me the fastest strategies of solving each problem. Because of Kumon, I feel more comfortable in explaining something to my friends if they ever need help in math she explains.... Alma’s inclination to help others academically is becoming a factor in her future. While she doesn’t completely know yet, she believes that she would really love to teach. I like being around kids, and when they learn something new, and they understand it, it gives me a warm feeling. Alma stays very busy traveling, doing beach cleanups, playing baseball, and giving back to those in need. You’re doing great Alma, we wish you the best!
