Although most of our home Reno’s are done. It’s still not finished, Chelsey has lots of new furniture planned and small little vignettes around the house that will need to be perfected! It’s also been 3 different rugs and Chelsey still cant find the right one.. why the hell are rugs so expensive anyway!?

Here comes the warm weather and the urge to explore is starting to get REAL! Chelsey and I have some wicked hikes planned this summer, are there any in particular that are a NEED to do in Alberta that we don’t know about?

A coffee bar has always been a dream of mine, not sure why.... I just thought it would be cool... and I can confirm it is haha. Ever since I came back from a trip to Italy I started to take coffee really serious and really started to enjoy learning and making a variety of different coffees... but I still suck at latte art. It’s a work in progress.

What crazy weather we have in Alberta. One minute it's plus 18 degrees celsius, the next there are white-out conditional and snow squalls warnings and fire evacuations! Nature is WILD!!!

Winter is winding down. Time to shake off that snow and soak in some sun!! Can't wait to shoot the mountains in the sunshine :) We also just posted a review video of the Tamron 17-28 F2.8 which is the same lense we used to take this photo... Let's just say there is a lot to hate about this lens... link in bio!

The Calgary tower is a familiar site for us being so close. However, I think our most favorite would have to be Bangkok - endless things to do, more City than you can grasp, and great public transportation. We aren't lying when we say we want to retire there one day...but what is your most favorite city in the world?

Here in Alberta it keeps getting warmer AND we are getting more and more sunlight! This means spring is on the horizon and we are ready to soak in some Alberta Sun and get in some road trips. Who's coming? PS. New Video is up on the Channel: The Pros and Cons of owning a Bengal cat!

We love winter.. but so ready for the summer, I don't know if the good weather bringing optimism or the thought of vaccines being rolled out that's more exciting?

If you guys saw our story a couple of days ago, we made a huge gallery wall in our staircase and filled the frames with our prints, the first time actually printed our photos it's a really cool feeling. Also, it's photos like these that make us want to travel again...

PSST: PS. It's Kurtis's Birthday today!!! After 1 year of Covid restrictions, we have come to terms with the fact that we are not traveling and that its time to show off Alberta ..specifically southern Alberta. That ok with everyone? Fun fact, southern Alberta is usually blessed with mild winters, but insane winds. Last week we had winds over 130km per hour, hurricane winds that barely made the new because it’s so normal lol if winds get anywhere near this in Vancouver it shuts down the city. But yesterday it was plus 10 in February, whaaat.!?
