Hello everyone! Just a little update, as I have been so busy I havent been able to post anything. My schedule is quite booked up these days (thank you!!) so if you would like an appointment, day time appointments are typically booking for two weeks ahead. Evening appointments are booking a month ahead. Due to such an increase in bookings, its best to think ahead about when you would like an appointment, and maybe even book two at a time. ... Also, I need to take my own health and well-being into account, and I cannot over work myself as I have been, as its resulting in injuries. While I will have cancellations, which I will post or message about, I cannot take last minute appointments anymore. Most days I see 4-6 people and I do not have the ability to see more. It was just announced that the Stage 2 re-open date will be early, and officially it is set for this Friday, June 12. I am not prepared to open that early, however, so I will officially be opening again on June 16. See you soon!

I just finished my meeting with Dr. Hinshaw and Mr. Copping. There is no set date on opening. June 19 will definitely be a day we will open, but they are thinking it will be earlier. As of now, they dont know. Guidelines specific to stage 2 businesses will be available next week. So we arent sure what they will be recommending or requiring. Dr. Hinshaw said very contradicting things about masks and left everyone very confused. So, lets hope they make a decision next week!

Two of the choices of masks I have made that will be available to purchase if you want to. There will be a third option coming.

Another update for you all: Still no official word on the re-opening of Stage 2. I had a meeting this morning with NHPC, the organisation who licences me, and so far all we know is that we have to, at bare minimum, follow the provincial guidelines in regards to PPE and opening. At this time, the stage 2 re-open date is for June 19. The state of emergency declared by Kenney is expired as of June 15, and will not be renewed. I do have a meeting tomorrow with Dr. Hinshaw to di...scuss how and when to re-open. I will update if I get any information. I suspect that there will be many meetings this week to see if things can re-open possibly a week earlier than June 19, but this is just speculation. For now, I remain closed, but I do know that I will have to have PPE, and so will you, as we will be in close proximity for an extended period of time. If you have any issues with that, feel free to bring them up to me privately and we can discuss what steps to take. I will have cloth masks available that I have made myself, for purchase, should you want one of your own and dont yet have one. I will also have ones available to my clients to use that stay here, should you choose that option. I want the best and safest route for all of us! And given the recent outbreak in Edmonton, we still need to be taking this seriously. <3 I miss you all!

Massage therapy is still in stage two. I also clarified with NHPC yesterday, and even in an emergency situation, I cannot work on anyone. Hello everyone! An update: We still dont know when we will be able to open. As per usual, I will post here when I am open and taking appointments, and I will send out an email to everyone who is on my email list. That said - for those of you who book online - I will still allow online booking but please be aware that there will now be a required screening you will have to answer and sign before you are allowed to book. I will be asking these things to the people who call o...r text or message me to book as well, so dont be too overwhelmed. Unfortunately, things are going to be a little bit ridiculous getting back to work. Also, I will require a screening and waiver for every single appointment I have. I know its annoying, but for liability reasons it is a requirement that I have to follow. And I am going to have to be dressed to the nines in my own PPE. And, that stuff is expensive. The changes I have to make, and the hoops I have to go through to work are extremely costly. Due to this, I am going to have to increase my prices. It wont be by much, but I am not adding a "materials fee" because that would come out of your own pocket, whereas all my overhead is part of the cost anyway. Thank you all for being the best clients! Good afternoon! Still no update on when my business can re-open, but there have been updates on protocols to work. As a client, you will be required to wear a mask when in my business, including during treatment. This is what the government has required, so far. For me, I will also require a whole load of PPE so dont be alarmed or offended when you see me :D More updates will be coming! I hope you are all well!

Hey everyone!! As you know, Ive been shut down for two weeks. Unfortunately, this will have to continue for the foreseeable future. There is no way I can massage you with six feet between us! Edmonton ordered all salons, massage practices, tattoo shops etc closed down as of yesterday, and while I dont think that extends to here, I think its good advice. ... When the social distancing lets up, thats when I should be able to work again. So I will be canceling all appointments that are booked. I am so sorry! I miss all of you, and I want to help you. I will be working on resources for local plant medicine in these days I cannot work, but for now, here is a great recipe for mullein tea. I would suggest using an ultrafine strainer, however, due to the hairs. You should hopefully be able to get mullein locally at Regent Health, or, I believe there is another supplement store in vegreville? It does grow in Alberta, though, so it will be freely available in the coming months.

This is why its important to practice distancing yourself, and working from home if possible, or closing down entirely, as is my unfortunate circumstance.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY I am canceling all appointments for the following two weeks. This is precautionary. There is absolutely no confirmed cases nor have I seen any confirmed cases. *To be clear, there is ZERO risk to anyone who has been here recently. This literally just happened* ... Due to the negligence of a client, myself and my entire business has been put at risk and I cannot in good faith see any clients. The risk is incredibly low that Covid-19 has entered my workspace but I refuse to take any risks. I will be elaborating in a bit on exactly what happened because I believe in transparency and I believe that all of Vegreville, Mundare, and Lloydminster are at risk due to the negligence and disregard for others/safety by a certain person (not my client).

Hello! With concerns about Covid-19, Id like to take every precaution to protect the health of my clients and myself. Do you have a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, or have you travelled outside of Canada or been in contact with someone who has travelled outside of Canada to an at risk area in the last 14 days?... If so, please contact me and we will reschedule your appointment. Otherwise, it is safe to come here. I use cavicide to clean everything and have been going past my normal disinfecting routine to keep everyone safe. Also, if you are a client and you need support of any kind, do not hesitate to ask me. If you are immunocompromised and need groceries purchased and dropped off this weekend, just let me know.
