THRILLED to announce I plan to produce a first-ever documentary done entirely in the Squamish Language with the wonderful Love Intersections as a part of the Te...lus Storyhive Documentary Program. The Squamish Language is undergoing what can only be defined as a HISTORIC revival with a 600% increase in the # of proficient speakers over the last 4 years. We’re in a time where the story of the Indigenous peoples from the area around Vancouver needs to be told and the story of our language is a story of our people which is a story of our land. We desperately need your help to vote for Ti Sníchim wa Aynexwének: This Language Is Lifegiving on Storyhive. You can vote for this project to be funded with all your five votes and vote every day till Fri May 31st. Help us win $50,000 to tell this powerful story of Indigenous rising and thriving again: https://www.storyhive.com/project/show/id/4907
