As Deputy Mayor I have the honour and privilege of laying the District of Metchosin’s wreath at the Langford cenotaph. On my way in I stoped at our cenotaph at St. Mary’s the Virgin. I am so proud of our community for the honouring of those that have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms and for those that still serve for those freedoms and peace for all. Lest We Forget.

Capital Regional District Regional Water Supply Commission meeting this afternoon that saw 15 registered speakers and countless letters and emails about the public’s concern regarding the Provincial Government’s interest in pushing an alternate highway route through our watershed. Couldn’t agree more with their concerns and sentiments. The following motion was passed unanimously.
