***MEDIA RELEASE: Licence Plate Thefts*** Woodstock, ON (April 19, 2021) The Woodstock Police Service received two separate reports that vehicles had licence ...plates removed while in a parking lot on Norwich Avenue and a parking lot on Ingersoll Road. Police encourage the public to check their licence plates regularly to ensure both of the correct plates are attached to the vehicle. It is common for licence plates to be stolen or replaced with plates from a stolen vehicle. The Woodstock Police Service would like to encourage anyone having information about this investigation or any other investigations to contact the Woodstock Police Service at 519-537-2323 or Crime Stoppers 519-421-TIPS (8477) or toll free at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
