Please share The last week has brought many things to lost boys. Our exhausted bodies are ready for the Xmas break. We have experienced the joys of life with 9... new puppies born, found out one of our admin members is expecting and I’ve selfishly dubbed that baby our first flesh lost boys baby. We also experienced sadness with so far 6 parvo puppies. They are currently in Winnipeg and fighting for their lives. Those of you who don’t know that’s literally what they do. There is little intervention (yes IV for fluids and meds for nausea, one even had plasma) but their little bodies need to fight (usually they pass away as they are took sick) we had to make some tough calls this week. Where they too sick and was euthanasia needed to end their suffering? (And until you’ve held a parvo Puppy and seen them in pain, you may not judge that decision)We have been lucky (so far) these pups are fighters and the vet there has allowed volunteers to keep some as outpatients. But they are admitted the second when things are kept down. We have two still in the hospital fighting. Our bill is skyrocketing to 3000.00 quickly. I know this week we have asked for ALOT! Trust me I hate doing it but we need help and support from our followers. If you can give just 10.00 it’s always appreciated and these pups deserve a chance at life.
