Hello and welcome back. The booking Center at L4005 has updated their policies and procedures for this upcoming year. please read the following carefully and be aware that some policies might change throughout the school year as different situations evolve.... The L4005 Booking Center will be Open from 10am 630pm Monday Friday. Before you can access the booking center or the online portal you will need to read, fill out and sign a digital Access Agreement. (which is posted on your BlackBoard) once completed please send it to the [email protected] account. Once you have been uploaded into our webcheckout system you will have access to https://mediacheckout.ca/patron#!/ (your username and password initially will be your N#, and can be changed upon your first time signing in) You will NEED to reserve all your gear at the link above online at least 1 hour prior to your scheduled pick up time. No walk in pick up/reservations will be aloud. Once you arrive for a gear pick up or drop off, please follow the signage poster around the college. The L4005 booking center has designated Pick up and Return sections. Please proceed to the proper area and don’t spend extra time hanging out in open areas if not needed. Return times for gear will be determined on a case by case basis, so please be mindful that your scheduled return time might change at the time of your gear pick up. Gear will be cleaned and sanitized upon return by staff, but we highly encourage that students clean their gear at checkout and again before it is returned. Cleaning supplies and instructions will be supplied at the booking center for you. Our Staff at the Booking Center are going to do everything in their power to make sure you get all the gear in a working and timely fashion. Because of the announcement from the Ontario Government the school will only be permitted to open for return tomorrow March 24th. As such, we will be open from 10am - 4pm at the same location as the previous posting. In an effort to collect all the outstanding gear and remove that liability from the students we will be opening a drop off center for gear that will be open: Tuesday March 24th Friday March 27, 2020. 10am 2pm... The location is at the back doors of Studio C in the Birmingham building. (map below) At this time we will observe social and physical distancing. If you arrive at the same time as someone else for a return, please maintain a 2 meter distance from each other and their gear. once you are inside for a return we will be asking you to put all the gear on tables and open the cases and kits for us, and remove any components for a visual inspection. Once you have been given the ok, your account will be cleared. at this time we will state again that NO late fines will be put onto your account, but any lost or damaged gear will still be your reasonability. if you have any questions please reach out: [email protected] Or call/text 647-389-5140
