Work outside this summer! Johnston Yard Care Services in Minnedosa is looking for energetic people to join the team! Yard Care Worker duties include lawn mowing and trimming, yard clean up and general labour. This position is physically demanding in varying outdoor conditions. Steel toed boots required. All staff must be reliable, respectful and hardworking with excellent customer service skills and high attention to detail. Must be able to work independently and as part of a... team. If you are looking for something different for Easter this year and want a sneak peek of some of our plants - WE ARE OPEN for this weekend only! Stop by the store TODAY between 2 pm and 4 pm or Sunday between 1 pm to 4 pm. Large and medium pots with a variety of house plants or choose an annual to enjoy now and plant outside in warmer weather. Limited ...supply of succulents and even cute Easter pails for the kids. If you love herbs as much as we do, we have those growing too! COVID restrictions in place - limited store capacity and face masks required. Hand sanitizer station at entrance. So happy to be surrounded by plants once again! Our transplanting team was hard at work this week potting up our first batch of annuals. With the support of our talented family members and local contractors, we were ready to grow just in time for these little ones!

Water is going down! The buildings are no longer part of the river but the fields are still under water. We can finally start on the long road to making La Bella Terra beautiful again. All the rescued plants, shrubs and trees are on drier ground in town. Details on a clearance sale will be posted soon!

Words can not express how grateful we are to everyone who stopped by to help us pull trees and shrubs from the water this morning - by kayak, canoe and boat! The water has dropped a couple feet already so we are hopeful it will continue to recede. Thank you Minnedosa!

Over 30 acres of new river - greenhouses, trees, shrubs, gardens, flowers and sod fields all under water. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the flood waters. Stay safe Minnedosa, we will get through this.
