THE ULTIMATE ROSES! TAKE A PEEK AT THE WORLD’S TALLEST ROSES Did you know that roses are sold at different prices according to stem length? Ya! Most popular here are 50cm, 60cm and sometimes 70cm. But they are also sold at 80cm and longer...and the biggest buyer for roses that size are those crazy Russians :p... Why do they love them so much? 1. Recent findings are showing that roses that are left on the stem longer develop brighter colors. 2. They have a longer vase life than the traditional tight cut roses. 3. They have larger buds. Of course, it costs growers more to wait the extra week for them to grow and then package and ship larger flowers. There’s a premium for these larger blooms.
