The Silent Auction for this beautiful framed "Generations, Yellow Labradors" print will end this weekend after the Labrador Retriever Club of Ontario Booster in conjunction with Credit Valley Kennel and Obedience Club all breed shows at the Orangeville Fairgrounds. Get your bids in....Laurie will be checking and updating bids until closing time.

I would also like to publically thank our show chair Laurie Orr for her dedication and perseverance to take this task head on, and show what she is made of! :) I would also like to thank our judges and ring stewards for their support too. It takes a great deal of commitment and effort given by volunteers to attempt to unite the Labrador community and provide specialties to showcase our beloved dogs, of which makes us proud to call ourselves breeders..

It is a pleasure to CONGRATULATE all of our exhibitors who entered our specialties, and those who found their way into the ribbons! Although I was not able to attend, I heard it was an awesome, successful event, and enjoyed by the exhibitors! Again, many thanks to all who supported our shows! :)

Several people have inquired as to the results of the show not posted to Canuk dogs. I have sent an inquiry to both the show service and Canuk dogs. I see on Canuk dogs that due to exterme volumes of uploads they are not excepting any right now. So I will update everyone when I get an answer.

I would also like to thank Mrs Judy Hunt for coming as our show was dedicated to her Husband who was a founding member of the LRCC. On behalf of LRCC Inc and LRCO, a special call out to all of our helpers, sponsors, exhibitors, judges, and of course show chair Denise Branch, WC Chair Diane Hopkins and Obedience Chair Susie Bell for their dedication in making our specialties, working certificate tests, and obedience trial come to fruition. An enormous amount of volunteered time is given in order for these events to happen, and as with anything, there can be glitches - but the events go on. LRCC Inc National obedience trial secretary would like entries by July 22 (TODAY), but will accept entries up to and including morning of Aug 5, 2016. Junior Handling is being offered as well. This event is being held in a nice quiet venue, and there is the option to use the hall the day before to practice, 9:00am to 9:00 pm! Venue: 7111 Concession 1,Puslinch, Ontario, Pinebank Kennel. LRCC Inc National WC, closing date is Aug 1, and tests to follow obedience trial, same day, same venue! A great day for Labradors!
