Our plastic sea creatures are up! A precursor to a very large-scale sculpture called "Bait Ball" we'll be installing at First Canadian Place in a few months. Now on view in the main lobby of First Canadian Place and Exchange Tower in Toronto. Made entirely of salvaged plastic from the building. Commissioned by Brookfield Property Partners in partnership with CD Sonter Environmental Consultants for their Earth Week event: A Plastic Ocean. Had a lot of fun transforming this old costume room into an enchanted woodland space for kids to explore, gaze, peer, open and discover art from the AGO's permanent collection. "Doors In the Deep" is now on long-term display at the Hands-On Centre at the AGO - Art Gallery of Ontario. (work by Laura Mendes & John Loerchner)
