Thank you to the staff at Community Corrections who held a good natured competition within their office through a food drive! With the help of special guest stars Kristy McDougall, Dawna Olson, and Cliff Gardiner, this benevolent, hard-working staff brought in enough groceries to be worth over 800 points for our weekly food hamper program. For reference, each item was worth 1 point with highly sought after protein products worth 2 points. Although the La Ronge Food Bank was the real winner, the winning crew gets to enjoy bragging rights until the competition comes around again. Thanks for your kindness, Community Corrections!

Happy holidays from the Lac La Ronge Food Bank Board! Throughout the holidays our processes continue. On Monday, you can call (306) 425-1259 between 10 and 4 to request a weekly hamper. On Tuesday, the hamper is delivered between 2 and 4. Please share through Facebook and by telling family, friends, clients, and anyone you know who might be struggling with food security.
