If youre over 50 this is fun to read. If youre under 30, you wont believe any of it, but its all true!
Mrs. Flora Weiss sadly passed away, but her contributions to her community will always be remembered as she had a lasting impact on all those she helped. Flora ...was here in the House last year, and I was going to read a statement in her honour. Unfortunately, my statement was not read into the record that day and she passed away during day surgery before I could have her back. Today I was able to read this statement as I promised Flora I would recognize the contributions she made to her community. This Members Statement is for her as I honour her legacy and acknowledge everything she meant to her community. Thank you Flora, we will always remember you.

Snowbirds and travellers: when you arrive in Canada, you do NOT go to get groceries, drop off your RV, or visit the grandkids. You go HOME - straight home, to self-isolate for 14 days. This isnt a hint or suggestion - its a public health order.

Due to the critical situation we are in, we will, for the time being, not implement the change to complex modifiers for physicians on March 31st.
As we are all dealing with the changes in our normal routines due to COVID- 19, I started thinking more about what my grandparents had to go through during tim...es of great turmoil. They made it, and built the foundations for the province and country we are fortunate enough to live in today. The basic protocols to help slow the spread of the COVID 19 virus is something we can all do. The extenuating circumstances we are all having to deal with however, can feel a bit overwhelming. Having home schooling firing up for my 4 kids at home today is something new to be sure but they are taking it in stride. Kids are very resilient and adaptable to change. I gave a speech in the house yesterday as we were in emergency debate that we need to work together, look out for one another, stay strong, keep calm, and carry on... Deep breaths, deal with what you can that is in front of you, and follow the protocols that we are posting. Hang in there, we will get through this together.
