Last night Avery and I started reading Harry Potter . I wasn’t sure if it was too old or age appropriate for her, but we’re giving it a go to see how it feels. It was crazy the nostalgia I felt reading it for the first time in 20 years and remembering the excitement and magic of it. And also remembering my mom reading me books that I couldn’t read on my own yet, and how I would want her to read faster and faster to find out what happened next. It made my heart happy. It ...also made me wonder if at 33 I can be Harry Potter for Halloween? . . Aren’t these three sweet I have renamed that sweet girl Birdie Lacey because I introduced her parents, match maker Lacey over here . Birdie wasn’t super into it, but she was super into cuddles with mom and dad, and watching her crazy fur siblings playing in the lake. We don’t get fog very often, so Sunday morning when we saw it in the back yard, Avery and I ran outside in our pyjamas and into the magic to look for @taylorswift it was like the Folklore album out there! To our disappointment we didn’t find her but we did find her, but Avery didn’t skip a beat, mom, pretend I’m a famous singer girl and you ask if you can my picture and I say no and run into the fog over there but then you take my picture anyways.
