We were saddened to hear of the passing of a friend, Jack Brooks. Since his retirement, Jack was a hard-working volunteer for the Alberta Golf Association and the Lacombe Golf & Country Club. The Lacombe Health Trust was fortunate to have Jack contribute as a special volunteer at the Lacombe Hospital Charity Golf Classic each year. He will truly be missed.

Medical laboratory professionals are an important part of the team at the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre. They may work behind the scenes, but what they do has a big impact on patient care. On World Health Day 2021, it seems even more important than ever to celebrate the healthcare professionals who put their lives on the line to protect ours. Thank you for showing up, each and every day, to keep us safe and healthy.

Echo Energy is doing great work in our community, and we were thrilled to be chosen as a recipient of $500 in celebration of their 500th customer. Thank you to everyone who has chosen Echo Lacombe Association as their service provider for supporting this initiative!

Did you know the Lacombe Health Trust is making a real difference in the lives of people with spinal cord injuries? Due to some key equipment purchases we have made for the physiotherapy department at the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre, local patients recovering from spinal cord injuries are able to receive the care they need outside of the province's two large urban centres. Thanks to our donors for making this possible!
