Friends of Lacrosse Fundraiser We’re at it again this year, making some money to support Special Needs lacrosse. After COVID-19, we all need a good escape, and a chance to catch up with old friends. We’re looking for donations for skill prizes, the silent auction and, of course, golfers! It's a bit of fun at the end of the season, to raise a few bucks for the Nova Scotia Special Needs Lacrosse Club. Nine challenging holes at beautiful Aspotogan Ridge Golf Course in Mill Cove ...(Hubbards), Nova Scotia, followed by a Steak BBQ and a few cold beverages. Best ball/ scramble format, with skill contests on throughout. Plus, lots of fun! Spaces are limited, and several teams have already been formed. To secure your place, you must register in advance by sending your $60 entry fee via e-transfer to [email protected]. We're also looking for items (swag, gear, gift cards, services, etc) for the silent auction. Please email me if you have a suitable donation - [email protected]. Here's the quick 411: - it's 9 holes, so we'll be a couple of hours on the course - your fee covers the green fee, a shared cart (for first 36 golfers), BBQ dinner, and a donation to the Nova Scotia Special Needs lacrosse program - you don't have to be a great golfer, as you'll play in a team (best ball format) - you do have to want to have fun - you don't have to register as a team; we'll match up individual registrants - there will be cold beverages - put your lacrosse stick in your golf bag, as on certain holes will consider it a legal club 12:00 - Registration opens 12:01 - Bar opens 12:30 - Dynamic stretch and warm up 12:45 - Group photo and Welcome 1:00 - Shotgun start
