We at Global Lacrosse send our deepest condolences to the family of Ken Hill on his passing yesterday (January 18th) in Miami, Florida. Mr. Hill, the owner of ...Grand River Enterprises (GRE) cigarette company, also gave back to his community. He owned land in Caledonia, as well as the United States, and employed many people. In addition to GRE, Hill owned the Six Nations Chiefs of Major Series Lacrosse, also once co-owned the Brantford Golden Eagles junior B hockey club and Jukasa Motor Speedway. He was also involved in creating the Dreamcatcher Charitable Foundation, which provides grants to Indigenous people and organizations. He will be sadly missed.
