A lot of people think Tummy Time is for developing neck and back strength. That's true, and it's so much more. What if you knew it also helped with digestion? And eating problems? And crawling? And breastfeeding and much more? HOW to do Tummy Time so your baby likes it is something I often cover in consults. Connect if you'd like to include this in your consult, or just consult on Tummy Time. www.lactationcare.ca... #lactationconsultant #tummytime #breastfeeding #lactation #breastfeedingsupport #baby #momlife #breastmilk #breastfeedingmom #newborn #breastfeedingmama #lactationsupport #newmom #normalizebreastfeeding #postpartum #motherhood #mom #breastfeedingjourney #pregnancy #parenting #breastfeedingtips

Follow your baby's cues, not the clock when it comes to how often you need to feed your baby. They will tell you with their actions if they are hungry. Some cues to look for: Puts hands to mouth. Turns head towards mom’s breast or bottle.... Puckers, smacks, or licks lips. Has clenched hands. How often does your baby need to be fed? If you are having difficulty with breastfeeding, reach out to one of our lactation consultants for help. #breastfeeding #breastmilk #postpartum #newmom #breastfeedingmom #pregnancy #lactationconsultant #lactationcare #lactation #breastfeedingsupport #baby #momlife #newborn #breastfeedingmama #lactationsupport #motherhood #mom #breastfeedingjourney #parenting #breastfeedingtips #mama #normalizebreastfeeding
What is Ask the LC? It’s like a prenatal class but it is for after the baby is born and as you are getting back on your feet. It is a virtual postpartum series for new parents who want to continue learning about early parenting. In a four-week series, our goal is to help empower you with knowledge, resources, and the important confidence you need. We address questions new parents tend to ask and offer many opportunities for your new, pressing questions. So it is a lovely opportunity to learn, make new connections, meet other mothers, and hear other people’s stories. Who couldn’t use more community?
