The return of cooler weather makes us aware that First Light is just around the corner!

Ok, so someone has taken the Garland range that we were offering, but we still have this awesome Garland convection oven up for grabs ... FREE! Just come take it away! It works beautifully ... it has made, easily, over 100,000 award winning buttertarts! And way more than 2,500 fabulous pies! ... and countless other stuff too numerous to mention ... I have it nicely broken in for whoever wants it

Hey everyone! We have some restaurant equipment that needs a good home ... for FREE! Just come and take it away and it’s yours. We have a Garland gas convection oven and also a Garland 4-burner gas stove/oven with side grill. Both are in good working order. Who wants them?

Anybody in Midland (or surrounding areas) have a cookie cutter shaped like ANGEL WINGS that I could borrow for a few days?

So, as most of you know by now, the Ladybug closed last August - although we still own the building and still live here. Ciboulette was using our kitchen, now they‘re in their new spot and we have a new restaurant setting up shop on the first floor where Ladybug used to be. They’re sprucing the place up a bit (it’s going to look great!), but they painted over my Trompe L’oeil mural in the front room before I could get a picture of it. If any of you have a picture of that mural, I would greatly appreciate it if you could post it on this Facebook page or the Ladybug Facebook page. Thank you all so much! E

This is a question for all my artist friends ... as well, I guess, anyone who has ever had the need to purchase art supplies of any sort. I'm seriously consider...ing turning the Ladybug Cafe into an art supply store! What do you think? I know for myself, I've always had to make the long drive to Barrie to Curry's, as there seems to be nothing here in Midland that offers anything in the way of paints, canvas, paper, pencils, etc. I could offer the space for art lessons, as well. So let's hear your comments - I need to know if this would be a viable business for this area ... and you are my first step to answering this question.
