Now you’re sleeping peaceful. 2019 I recently lost someone dear to me. I started putting this piece together while she was being taken care of at Arch Hospice here in Sault Ste. Marie. I’ve found peace in knowing she was so loved, well cared for, and is no longer in pain. She will be forever missed.

Just realized I didn't do any art through the month of March. It's like every other month I'm motivated and inspired. The band Daughter has been a huge inspiration for how I title my work. In fact, all through 2018 and so far in 2019 I've been listening to multiple Daughter albums while I've worked. I just cant get enough.

These are a collection of collages I've created beginning in 2017, for an ongoing series about my own struggles with mental health. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue my work on this series by way of a grant from the Ontario Arts Council.
