Laferriere Film 25.03.2021

Got to see some footage from a production of mine in 2018 on CTV news yesterday as they were promoting the event for this year. For anyone with friends or family that suffers from NF, you know how difficult of a disorder it is to live with. If you like running, you should come down to Lockport on the 21st of September for a great cause. From 5km's to full marathons they have it all!

On August 10th, 2019, friends of mine Breanne and Bryan tied the knot at their beautiful family cabin on Falcon Lake. The day was nothing short of amazing and I'm thrilled with how this film came together. Breanne Nichol, you looked absolutely stunning and it was such a pleasure to spend the day with you and Bryan. I hope this film is a reminder of how incredible the day was and allows you to relive those moments forever. Watch in HD!

Brenna and Josh sealed the deal on December 22, 2018 at Whitetail Meadow. With fresh snow on the ground and a light snowfall throughout the day, it made for a stunning winter wedding here in Manitoba. I can't thank Brenna Froese enough for sharing the day with me and letting me capture what was an absolutely beautiful day.

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of shooting some content for one of the coolest places I’ve ever been. Floating in the middle of Shuswap Lake in BC, The Shark Shack awaits boaters with cold beer, great food, and good vibes. Here’s one of 3 videos I shot for them. Super happy with how it all turned out and can’t wait to go back next year!

So excited for this video to finally be released so I can share it with you all. Back in October, I went up to Kenanow Lodge for a week for Travel Manitoba to film a piece. The fishing was unlike anything I had ever seen before and footage wise, it was just magic. Here’s a look at the video, and the best week of fishing I’ve ever seen. #travelmanitoba #huntfishmb

Well I’m a bit (or a lot) late on the whole looking back on 2018 post. And equally as late on the 2019 resolution post seeing as it’s almost March. 2018 was absurd. I graduated from University, launched the company I’ve spent years building, and went on some incredible trips for work that I never would have gone on otherwise. This photo is with an American guest who I now call a friend that I met in Northern Manitoba at a hunting lodge. 56 year difference between us and after... a week of hunting and fishing together that number meant nothing. After having some near-death health issues, this guy dropped everything in his life to spend the rest of his days traveling the world hunting and fishing. Do it while you can he told me. 19 days ago was the 1 year anniversary of me creating this page and formally announcing the lunch of my company. A year (and 19 days) later, and it’s surreal to look back and each and every day of the last 384 days. I can’t thank all of you enough for supporting me. I’m incredibly fortunate and grateful for having the friends and family that I have in my life. 2019 is going to be incredibly busy but incredibly fun. We’re already at the top of the mountain, but we’re really only half way up.

Well I just found out that today is International Polar Bear Day so I figured it would be an ideal time to share one of the most incredible shooting experiences I had in 2018. Filming for Manitoba at a remote fly-in waterfowl lodge on the coast of Hudson Bay onlooking the Arctic Ocean, 250km from the nearest town or road, for the first time in my life, I got to see a polar bear. Over the course of the week we saw several polar bear, moose, and much more making it one of the most incredible weeks of my life.

It’s been a long time coming, but I’m finally releasing the Laferriere Film Reel. After years of shooting all sorts of adventures, with footage from across Canada, and working what sometimes feels like 25 hour days, this is Laferriere Film. Life is crazy right now but I hope everyone out there is being extra careful and staying healthy. I want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all the clients that I’ve worked with, people I’ve met along the way, and of course, the ...friends and family that support me day in day out. I’m incredibly proud to publish this, but the truth is that this is just the beginning. There’s so much more to come and I can’t wait to share it with you guys. If you want to hit the share button it goes a long way, thanks!

This was definitely one of the most fun shoots of 2019. Shout out to Clayton Schick for coming in clutch on the fish and Jay Siemens on the landing assist. Much more to come! #huntfishmb
