BYE BYE Pride Marine Group! This came across my desk today from one of the Boaters in the marina. Not sure how many of you have seen this!

What's everybody's thoughts on starting a Boaters Association in the marina? Also, what about a dock box sale (similar to a garage sale) in the spring?

Hey all! I've had contact with Pride Marine Group and since the transition from Crates is not going as smooth as they planned, they will be officially taking over the marina as of May 1, 2015. That being said, they also don't have access to everyones contact info and slips that belong to people vs seasonal rentals.... Since the privacy laws do not allow me to share this information with them directly, I'd like to collect as much info as possible from everyone and if anyone that's not on FB, could you please reach out to them as well. I'm going to try my best to keep everyone in touch as I believe this is the best way to have our voices heard with the new operators for this season and the upcoming ones as well. Also, if you know people on FB, please share this post on your walls and their walls!

Important notice to boat owners and other property claimants As set out in the Property Claims Procedure Order, all Claimants having a Property Claim (which includes owners of boats stored on Crate Marine premises) must complete a Proof of Property claim (included in the Proof of Property Claim Document Package linked below) and submit it to the Receiver no later than 4:00pm (Eastern Standard Time) on January 30, 2015. Failure to file your Proof of Property Claim by this time will result in your Property Claim being barred and in you being prevented from making or enforcing a Property claim against Crate Marine. Hey everyone, I was just informed about this and I'm a bit disappointed in Talisker's lack of communication with me but that's the way business goes sometimes. Apparently, we will be in the hand of Pride Marine Group as of March 2015! I'm truly hope they move in and are able to handle our small marina community! I'm going to leave this Facebook page up as I do believe that it is important to have a place for our community to connect and share their thoughts/feelings!... As more updates become available, I will post them up! Looking forward to the 2015 season!!!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to thank everyone for the "LIKES" on the new Lagoon City Facebook page! For those of you who haven't already met me, my name is Graham Cardoza (Pier #5, Slip 520) and I have recently expressed interest to Talisker in an investment in the Lagoon City Marina for the 2015 season! As many of you may or may not know the current situation with the marina and Crate's, it doesn't look good but it's definitely fixable with everyones' support.... Rest assured that myself and my business partner are in no way associated with Crate's or any of its subsidiary companies.
