Hello LBCA Community, Our provincial government implemented temporary restrictions to team sports, fitness classes and performance groups. Therefore, the following activities are temporarily cancelled at the LBCA Friday, November 13th to Friday, November 27th: - All team sports and performance user group bookings including: dance, minor hockey, adult hockey(mens leagues, rec. groups, etc.) ringette, basketball, volleyball, badminton & floor hockey.... - Pickleball(Cohort A, Cohort B & Open Play) - Fitness Classes: Chi Ball, Pilates & Core - LBCA Programs: Indoor Soccer & Basketball FEES & INVOICES: FACILITY RENTALS: As outlined in LBCA facility rental agreements; if a provincial authority determines that your group cannot operate, the LBCA will not invoice for cancelled rental space. Please contact Jaimie Roote if you have questions about program registration fees @[email protected] AGM: In light of the recent increase of positive Covid-19 cases in our province and recent restrictions, the LBCA Board of Directors have decided to postpone the Annual General Meeting until further notice. This is a difficult time for all of us but we want to encourage you to do your part to flatten the curve and closely follow provincial guidelines over the next 2 weeks. Together, we can be successful and see all LBCA users and guests able to return quickly and get back to the activities we love. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

With heavy hearts, we have made the decision to cancel our Annual Christmas Craft Sale. (November 14th 11am-4pm) We are very disappointed that we cannot run this event however, as a community association, the health and safety of our community, participants, and staff are at the forefront of every decision that we make. Although we are not forced to cancel this event, it is in everyone's best interest to minimize participation in non-cohort events or activities at the LBCA t...hat could contribute to the rising numbers of Covid-19 cases in our province at this time. We hope to offer some small Christmas activities this season. More will be announced in our December Bugle. Thank you for your understanding.

A wonderful initiative! Ongoing until November 14th, 2020. The book-raiser supports The Children’s Link https://childrenslink.ca/ This is in honour of a beautiful neighbour Alacia who passed away very young. Her family is a huge contributor to not only our community but many many other non-profits and charities.
