Duties include mowing and ground maintenance, lake patrols, indoor cleaning. Perfect for a University student. Full-time office staff positions starting in mid May. Duties include member sign ups, card replacements, and invoicing/ billing. ... Part-time boat house staff positions starting at the end of June. Ice Update for January 19, 2021 (please observe all signage in park before skating). Top Rink - Open, go Lake Rinks - Three rinks open in good condition. Zamboni has been on rinks. ... No hockey games will be allowed, as per AHS. Sticks and pucks for practice purposes only. Falls Rink - Limit of 40 skaters. Inn Rink - Limit of 50 skaters. Bonus Rink - Limit of 40 skaters. Lake Path - Open in OK condition, with rough patches. We are just starting the Zamboni on the path today. Some small holes have opened on the lake and allowed flooding to occur. This means there is standing water in some areas, even under the snow. Please be aware when walking / skating on the lake surface. Currently, the path does not go around the island and is smaller than previous years due to unfavorable ice conditions. We will try and extend the path when we can. Lake Path has no limit for skaters, but please keep physical distance (at least 6 feet) from others at all times. Ice Fishing - Open. Please stay within 150 feet of the east side of the island. And please only drill one hole per visit. Toboggan Hill - Open

Update on Our Special Covid Rules Beginning today (January 19th) members will be able to sign in two guests per day per household. This is for weekdays only... no weekends or holidays. Members must have their card with them to enter the park. If you need a new card, please make an appointment with the office via email [email protected]. ... :)

UPDATE Dec 24: All rinks open UPDATE Dec 23 4:05pm : Falls Rink and Inn Rink are open. UPDATE Dec 22 3:30pm ish: Top Rink is Open... Good morning Lake Bonavista! We are digging out from all the snow. Every machine and shovel is going. No skating for awhile. We will let you know when it's been cleared. PS... if you don't have to go out today, stay home. The roads are gross.
We tried... we really did... but unfortunately the fireworks planned for New Years Eve have been cancelled. The City of Calgary made the decision that no fireworks are permitted at this time.
