Welcome to another monthly team member feature. Roger started his career with Co-op Home Center in May of 2000. He started on the lumber side but ultimately ended up in hardware. With the opening of our Wine, Spirits & Beer location up on marquis, Roger accepted a position as a supervisor where he helps lead the team. If you come into the Marquis WSB location you will probably find Roger chatting it up with someone about the Raiders or helping an old customer from the home ce...nter with a woodstove or a fireplace. Roger is married to his wife Kim of 23 years; they have two daughters. He is very active with the Prince Albert Raiders serving as the visiting team’s liaison assisting with any medical needs. His family has also been involved with the billet program since 2018. Their last billet son Alex Protas has signed an entry level contract with the Washington Capitals. On top of hockey roger loves baseball and football. His teams being the St. Louis Cardinals and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (which his fellow team members love to bug him about almost daily). In the summertime Roger loves to be at the lake sitting in a boat fishing and spending time outdoors with his family. Roger loves to travel and hopes to get back to Scotland and Ireland once its safe to do so. His claim to fame is the Goal Pump Stick. When the raiders play, he has an old hockey stick with a hockey glove attached and will proceed to give people fist bumps when they score. Unfortunately covid has suspended the Goal Pump Stick but we’re sure in time it we will see it again. Fun Facts about Roger - Firm believer in wearing sock and sandals (I mean he’s not wrong). - If you ever see someone out in public wearing a hockey jersey and Converse Chuck Taylor’s, its probably Roger. - Only person we know that puts potato chips in the fridge before he eats them. - Might possibly be addicted to twitter, no one knows for certain though. - Roger LOVESSSSSSS to talk. - Roger may know every single person in the city of Prince Albert Roger has a big heart and is the type of guy who would help do anything, big or small. He loves to be apart of the team and has been a very valued team member here at the Marquis WSB location. Roger lives our brand through and through and makes sure our members are well taken care of when they visit. So next time your in stop and say hi (but only if you have about 15 minutes to spare) and ask him for his recommendation!

Monthly Team Member Feature. Every month we are going to introduce you to one of our amazing, hardworking team members. We are going to kick things off with Aaron The Wine Guy. ... Aaron works at our cornerstone location and has been with us since November of 2018. He currently holds his WSET Level 3 certification in wine . Though his formal education is in the wine category, he fell in love with beer through his travels to France, Belgium and Italy. Most people come to Aaron for a wine recommendation but he knows just as much about beer . He enjoys keeping up to date with his product knowledge by reading several magazines and also by trying out the new products.
