ATTENTION! Please note that if you and your horses and animals are in need to evacuate and need a safe place to land the Kelowna Riding Club is open and you ar...e welcome. Please remember that the KRC is NOT a boarding facility and we have no turnout and care of your animals is the responsibility of the animal's owner. Our volunteers will do our best to assist in any way we can. The KRC recommends that if you are in need you reach out first to Laurie Takoff from ALERT they have worked incredibly hard to put together resources to assist those in need. Given our current Covid climate below you will see our protocols for those who need to come to the KRC. Stay Safe Everyone! 1. All evacuees need to sign in with full name, phone number and email address. With a number of horses/animals on the property and duration. This sign-in sheet will be housed on the clubhouse front porch. 2. Stalls must be staggered unless horses come from the same property 3. If people need to camp on the property then they are to practice social distancing protocols and set up their sleeping arrangements a min of 12 ft apart from each other 4. The clubhouse kitchen and clubhouse is closed 5. The bathrooms will be kept open but only 2 people at a time in the washroom/shower areas.
