The 2020 Tree Lighting will take place Friday December 4 at 6:00 pm. Local dignitaries have been invited to take part in a short ceremony which will be live str...eamed on the Villages Beautiful Festival of Trees Facebook page. This year the Tree Lighting which will take place at Soldiers Memorial (OSO) Hall will be accompanied by luminaries which will be placed on the sidewalks of Elizabeth St and Road 38. Community members are invited to view the tree and enjoy a walk around the village afterwards. Villages Beautiful encourages all participants to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Weather permitting, we hope to capture footage of the lighting ceremony and drone footage of the luminaries and post it to our newly created You Tube Channel. See more
