Hello Everyone! We are now offering first aid courses for our community, and our first classes are being held on October 24th & 25th. This comprehensive two-day course offering first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills and automated external defibrillator (AED) training for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge on how to respond to emergencies at home. This course meets all legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid, CPR and AED guidelines. Make sure to pack a lunch and wear comfy clothes!! Please register before October 20th by emailing us at [email protected] or sending us a message on our Facebook page.

Hello Friends of the Lake Echo Terry Fox Run, The Terry Fox Virtual Run is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2020. This is the 40th annual run to commemorate... the 1980 Marathon of Hope. You can run, walk, bike, or wheel in any area of your preference. This year there will not be a welcome centre set up at the Lake Echo Community Centre due to COVID-19 precautions. Hello Everyone! I know its been a while since the centre has been open but we are happier than ever to announce that the centre will be opening September 8th. Its been to long time since we have seen each other and I'm sure everyone is getting is just so excited to regain a little bit of normalcy.
