"Pearl" has been missing since July 01, 2020. She is 14 years old, is a nervous cat, and does not like to be picked up, yet is a loving lap cat. Lost in the area of Farmcrest Ave in Peterborough. Contact Lori @ 705-761-6059 if anyone has located her.

We are in need of small dog sweaters if anyone has any to spare. Length: 9, chest size 14, and another at 14 length and 21 chest. Some recent new arrivals are all nakey after requiring shave-downs and we want them to be cozy. You can drop off donations outside our door and staff will bring them in. Thanks in advance!

Adoption Update: Sometimes the stars align and you find the perfect home for a pet. That's what happened when Lola found her forever home, with a family who happened to have her littermate George, from one of our litters last Fall! Everyone is in love and things are going great! You can see the family resemblance! We are so happy for your new home Lola, be a good girl!

On Saturday October 3rd we held another Kitten Adopt-a-thon and found homes for 21 kittens! A special thanks to two special ladies - Mary W. and Mary P. who coordinate and keep track of all our foster homes. We couldn't do this without these two dedicated long time volunteers! And a big thanks to our front desk staff and Phyllis for helping out on this very busy day! We can't wait to hear updates on all these kittens!

Hard to believe we have more kittens coming after adopting over 50 in the last month, but it's true! Our next Adopt-a-thon will be on Saturday October 17th. Please call the shelter to get on the Kitten List!
