Hi everyone! My name is Madeline Douglas and I am the Associate of Communications for LIPSS this year. I am currently in my third year of an HBA in Psychology with a minor in political science. I got involved with LIPSS because developing teamwork and problem-solving skills through interprofessional practice is essential for improving patient care. LIPSS also facilitates collaboration between students from multiple faculties and creates valuable insight into issues and i...deas from the perspective of different healthcare fields. Hi everyone, my name is Erin Zysko and I am the Director of Communications for LIPSS I am currently in my fourth year of the Collaborative Nursing Program at Lakehead University. I chose to join LIPSS this year because I have a strong appreciation for the many different roles there are among a health care team. I believe a successful health care team relies on interdisciplinary team work in order to provide patient-centered care and by joining LIPSS, I have been able... to further gain experience working with other members of the health care team. Hi everyone, my name is Brendan Chasse and I am the Director of Research for LIPPS. I am currently in my fourth year of the Collaborative Nursing Program. I have been involved in LIPSS for the past 3 years as an associate of Sim Series, Sim Challenge, and now as Director of Research. I originally joined LIPSS because It was a new way to be involved on campus & a couple of my friends encouraged me to join. This club is important to me as I have learned all about interpro...fessional education from various events, guest speakers, and my fellow LIPSS members. Hi everyone! My name is Katie Davidson and I am the Co-President of LIPSS this year I am currently in my second year of Compressed Nursing. I have been involved with LIPSS for 2 years now and I think it is a great way to meet people in different programs that will create relationships for our future!... A couple of fun facts about me include that I am a dance instructor and have been a dancer since the age of six!
