COVID 19 School Closure Update Dear Lakehead Public Schools Families, As per the order issued by the Minister of Education issued on Thursday, March 12, all sch...ools will remain closed from March 14 through to April 5, 2020. With the closure of the schools, the following will also be in effect from March 14 through to April 5, 2020: All childcare centres and EarlyON centres located in schools will be closed. All questions or concerns related to school based childcare centres should be directed to the service providers; All before and after school programs are cancelled; All on and offsite athletic practices and school activities are cancelled; All community use permits will be cancelled; All co-op and work placements will be suspended; All dual credit college classes will be cancelled; and All breakfast programs cancelled. The Jim McCuaig Education Centre will be closed to the public. All enquires should be directed to: 625-5100. Messages will be checked on a regular basis.
