Yes, the rumours are sad but true: soccer is cancelled for the rest of this week, and most likely next week too. Beginning in the new year we will be returning to socially distanced soccer for youth as per the newly released regulations, and adult programming must be suspended. Let’s all take the extra time we have just been gifted to spend more time with our loved ones, to embrace the joys of this season, to look at this not as a challenge but an opportunity. Stay safe, show off those Lakehill colours, and wear a mask.

This past Sunday saw the wrap-up to Blaster Buddies, with the rest of Fall soccer finishing up very soon! Soccer this Fall has been a much greater success than we could have possibly imagined, and we appreciate everyone’s cooperation with the regulations, as it means we’re continuing with soccer in the new year! We hope to open registration in the next week or so, and keep teams and cohorts the same as much as possible. We’re aiming to run another 10 to 12 week program similar to the past few months with something for everyone, taking us up to the Easter weekend, with practices and games starting the last week of January. Stay tuned for more details!
