The ice is slowly receding, esp since the weather has just been phenomenal lately! There’s actually water showin along the shoreline! So looking forward to getting my kayak into the lake and going for a spin! Good riddance ice and snow! Remember this year I’ve added 3 more kayaks so that’s pretty exciting! There’s nothing quite like getting out in the scenic waters of Lake Isle for a leisurely float and enjoying the wonderful scenery along the 14 miles of lakeshore! Most of the lake birds are here, there’s a constant ruckus of very vocal Canada geese, the ducks are back too and even those squawky seagulls ( terns ) looking for any bugs that are slowly appearing as well! I’m thinking the kayaks will be ready to launch by months end!

The weathers in March has been fantastic ( excluding two days last week but there long gone ) The lake ice is beginning to melt and it won’t be long until I can slip that first kayak into the chilly spring waters of Lake Isle! Wonderful news, I’ve expanded my Kayak Fleet by 3 ( possibly 4 ) more kayaks for a total of 10. I was extremely busy last season with my 6 kayaks so I’m very happy to have this increase! Looking forward to this years kayaking season!

It may be abit too early to think about kayaking ( personally I can’t wait!) esp with this Polar Vortex gripping most of Canada! But in saying that I suspect another busy season coming up so I would suggest thinking about booking ur Kayak Adventure soon. Last season I was totally booked practically every nice weekend and most of the week esp when weather conditions were pleasant. So just a heads up for booking this season, don’t wait too long! Looking forward to seeing my regular customers and hopefully some new ones as well! Spring is only 39 days away ( probably still ice in the lake ) but hopefully nice and warm! Gearing up for the 2021 Kayaking season! 4 months and counting!

Well, the lakes been frozen across for a good couple weeks now but the weather had been awesome. So sad that the kayaking season ended so abruptly! Just a thank you shout out to all my customers this year! It was a fantastic season, met lots of new customers, and had my awesome regular customers come out and kayak! Thanks so much for your business, with this year being so challenging in more ways than one! Hoping things get back to better times soon and we see you all again next season!

Fall is almost here, trees are starting to change colour and temps cooling off abit only, hopefully!! As of September 1, our new fall kayaking hours are, 12 pm to 6 pm! Bookings are still required, preferably a day or two ahead. Payments is cash only and please pre book by texting me at 780-241-5034 please! ( poor phone coverage ) We are open until freeze up.
