Thank you to everyone who attended this year's Lion's Turkey Shoot. It was a great success with nearly 50% more participants this year than in 2018. We notice...d that everyone was having a great time. We also thank you for your patience. 129 turkeys were won, giving us a good problem to deal with ... a shortage of turkeys! We now have enough turkeys for distribution to all winners. Craig Fisher is in the process of calling you and distributing them. Alternatively, please PM him from the Lakeland Lions FB page. Lakeland Lions would also like to extend a big thank you to the Lakeland Curling Club for use of the excellent Anderson Community Center. A big thank you also goes out to Carmen Dagnais and Terry Mourot for providing meals to all the hungry participants. Kudos to Brandy Smart at Vacationland News for supplying printing. Again, thank you everyone for your participation. We hope you will attend in 2020. Watch for that announcement. PS: Are you looking for fun and fellowship in community service.
