Due to yesterday's announcement regarding additional COVID-19 restrictions we will be putting a hold on any new registrations to our April/May session until new updates are received. We continue to adhere to the strict guidelines from AHS and the Alberta Gymnastics Federation to ensure the safety of our coaches and athletes. When we receive clarification on how our session will move forward we will post the information on our Facebook page and send a mass email to all reg...istered athletes. We still have spaces available for ages 18 months and up. We have been given clarification from Alberta Gymnastics Federation to continue with the session as we had planned. Good afternoon everyone! We are aware that many of you are concerned after yesterday's announcement regarding additional COVID-19 restrictions. At this time there have been NO CHANGES to restrictions regarding youth sports and our April session registration will remain open and run as planned. We continue to adhere to the strict guidelines from AHS and the Alberta Gymnastics Federation to ensure the safety of our coaches and athletes. ... We have received our official notification from Alberta Gymnastics Federation (AGF). Due to the new public health measures that are to be in effect as of November 27, 2020, Lakeland Gymnastics Club Society is required to CANCEL ALL RECREATIONAL and COMPETITIVE regular scheduled classes at this time. We are disappointed that it has come to this so close to the end of the session but are currently exploring the possibility of running semi private classes as we move forward. Ho...wever, if our area is removed from the enhanced status, we can resume our normal classes. Hello Parents, We are open for this evening classes. We are currently still awaiting further instructions from AGF regarding the new restrictions coming into place on Friday the 27th. Please make sure you are subscribed to the Amilia emails to ensure you receive all important information from us.... Pleaselet us know if you will not be attending and be sure to fill out your athlete's Daily Screening Checklist. Please check your junk mail. We are open and still awaiting further instruction from Alberta Gymnastics Federation. Below is an excerpt from the email sent to us tonight. I am sure everyone was anxious this afternoon, listening to the updated restrictions from the Government of Alberta. There appears to be some enhanced restrictions that will come into effect on Friday, November 27, 2020 for gymnastics. We will be seeking further clarification on the restrictions and their intent in the next day to en...sure we are in compliance. As soon as we have confirmation on what is expected from us, we will communicate with you. Thank you for your continued patience as we seek to keep you as informed as possible with the most current information available.
