With a new confirmed case of COVID in our region we want to remind everyone to follow the physical distancing and personal hygiene guidelines. The best way to p...revent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Maintain a distance of 6 feet apart between yourself and people who don't live in your household. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, after using the restroom, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing, or caring for someone who is sick, touching animals or pets. Always wash before eating or preparing food. Avoid touching your face. If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks. Monitor your health daily. Be alert for symptoms. Watch for fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms of COVID-19.
