As we settle into winter and people are shopping around for a hot tub, we find one of the most common questions we get asked is "if the tub is hooked up as 120v... 'plug n' play', is it true that you can't have the jets and the heater on at the same time?" The answer is yes....and no. Our tub pump/motors have 2 speeds. If you have the tub set-up as a ‘plug n’ play’ (120v) the heater will not come on when the pump/motor is on high speed, however, it will still come on when the pump/motor is on low speed. If you tend to soak for a while and love HOT water, things you may want to consider to keep the water temperature from dropping are: 1. Having the air valve open means the tub is drawing in cold air to pump through the water, therefore lowering the water temperature 2. If there's only 1 or 2 of you soaking, try keeping the cover half closed to prevent the heat from escaping 3. Try soaking without the jets on - sometimes it's nice to sit in silence 4. If you enjoy soaking with the jets on high speed and the air valve open for long periods of time in the winter, you may want to hardwire your RotoSpa to 240v. This way, the heat will come on regardless of low speed or high speed and it will switch from a 1kw/h heater to a 4kw/h heater allowing it to heat up 4x faster. Whatever your soaking habits may be, we hope you are enjoying your RotoSpa! See more

Hot tubbing on cool rainy days is where it's at...and the jets feel great on all those mosquito bites!
