Take some time today to remember those who sacrificed their lives to serve our communities #CanadaRemembers This year marks the 105th anniversary of "In Flanders Fields" by Lt.-Col. John McCrae. McCrae grew up in Guelph, ON and served as a medical officer in the Canadian Expeditionary Force. He wrote the poem in Belgium after the death of a friend and fellow solider during the spring of 1915 as the First World War entered its 11th month.
