At Lakeridge Fertility we are pleased to announce that we have been invited by the Ministry of Health to be one of the clinics to participate in the funded fertility program. Ontario’s new funded fertility program has been approved to receive $70 million dollars in funding; $50 million for IVF and $20 million for IUI. We have confirmed acceptance and are excited for the increased access that the funding will bring to patients by offsetting many expenses of treatment. The Ontario government has announced their plans for OHIP- funded IVF yesterday October 1, 2015. At Lakeridge Fertility we look forward to the increased access that the proposed funding will bring to our patients by offsetting some of the expense of IVF. Funding is announced to start in December 2015, however at this time details about the criteria, process and funding are still pending.
