Well here we are at the end of February and we have no clear indication as to whether or not we can hold the Fall Fair again this year. As with all other organizations and people in general it is very frustrating playing the waiting game BUT we are continuing to do our planning. The new Rodeo Concession is complete and just waiting to be used. ... All aspects of the Fair are carefully being planned from the Children's Festival to the vendors. I guess like everyone we just have to wait and see what happens with Covid19. We will be ready to host the Fair if we get the go ahead but our main concern is the health and well being of all our faithful supporters. Stay healthy, happy and safe and hopefully we will see you all in September.

On Saturday May 9th the Lakes District Fall Fair committee met up at the Fair grounds. It was the one place we could meet and still practice our safe distancing. After much discussion and weighing the pros and cons it was a unanimous decision to cancel the 2020 Fall Fair. It is with great concern for the health, safety and well being of all of you, our faithful Fair participants, that we made the difficult decision to cancel. All the planning that we have done so far in ...2020 will carry over to 2021. We would like to thank our many volunteers that were ready to pitch in again to make the Fair a great success, to everyone that supported us financially with your sponsorships and donations, to LD News for their dedication to putting together our prize book each year and to all the many people that come to support us during the three days of the Fair. It takes a caring community to have a successful Fall Fair and we are proud to be part of one of the most caring communities in the province. Stay healthy, stay safe, stay happy and keep up the social distancing so that we can have a truly wonderful Fall Fair in 2021.

Good afternoon all, Just a quick update on the 2020 Lakes District Fall Fair. As you all are aware everything around the world is pretty much on pause including the Fall Fair due to Covid-19. We have had many discussions as to what to do and we are waiting for as long as possible to make that final decision. Our main priority is the safety and well being of our community and for all those that travel from other communities. We are, however, still planning and doing the prep work just in case we are able to hold the Fair in September. We will be sure to update everyone as to our decision as we move forward. Stay safe, stay healthy.

Well things are certainly starting to look ready for the Fair. There will be WIFI at the Fairgrounds this year.

One more sleep until the 2019 FALL FAIR begins. We hope to see everyone out and enjoying all the activities we have planned for you this year. Remember the Exhibit Hall opens at 5:00 pm on Friday and then the TEEN activities start including Burns Lake Teen Idol and the Teen Dance.

Happy New Year Everyone! On January 9, 2020 the Lakes District Fall Fair Association will be holding our AGM at LDSS at 6:30 pm. We encourage as many people as possible to come out to support the Fair at that time. ... Please come and sign in to show your support. You are not required to stay for the meeting but we do need you signatures. Everyone please bring a friend, a spouse, a daughter a son a niece or a nephew. Heck, bring your ex we don't care. Just come and help us out.

Greetings Fall Fair Fans! The Fall Fair committee has obtained a logging truck load of fire wood that we are putting up for sale to the person with best offer.
