Please note that the LSCC wind-up Meeting and Pot Luck scheduled for March 21st has been cancelled. In lieu of the wind-up meeting please find attached the draft minutes from the executive meeting held yesterday. Highlights and dates to remember are as follows: 1. The fall AGM date is set for September 27th 2020 at 7:30 PM 2. Elections will be held for President and 2 directors... 3. Live and Silent Auction date has been set for August 15, 2020. We need volunteers to help with fundraising and other activities Contact Nancy if you can help out. 4. 2 Volunteers are needed to audit the club financials in August Contact Richard Landry if you can help 5. Congratulations to this year’s league champions - Mon/Tues- McGinnis team, Wed/Thurs Scott team. Thanks to a donation from Russell Scheideman we are also offering Tim’s gift cards to the 2 teams from each league that tried the hardest this season; team Knowles and team Rathmann. Some members have been asking about the last 2 league games scheduled for tonight and tomorrow. At the Executive meeting last night we voted to go ahead with these games, however, given the changing environment I would encourage each team to use their own discretion and take responsibility to communicate with their opponents if they decide to cancel. Please note that the date for the Lakeside Curling Club 2 on 2 bonspiel has been changed from March 7th to March 14th 2020 to avoid conflict with the Wildwood Bonspiel. Also just a reminder of our upcoming modified Mixed Bonspiel February 21st to 23rd. Register your team on the sign-up sheet at the rink.

Happy New Year! Just a reminder that our men’s Bonspiel is fast approaching, January 10th -12th. We need a minimum of 8 teams and at last look before Christmas we had 3 teams signed up. Please contact Brian (780) 554-5843 to get your team registered. The volunteer sheets will be up at the rink next week also or contact Lynn Childs to sign up....
