Had this fillet knife sitting around for a while, it was the last one I ever made but never had a sheath. Well its found itself a home now and I just finished a brand new sheath for it. It's off for a Father's Day gift....Hope you enjoy it LW!!! Thanks to MW for putting the bug back in me

I know I have folks from all over SK on here. If anyone from the area of Melfort, Tisdale, Porcupine Plain, Hudson Bay, and surrounding areas could share this, I would greatly appreciate it!

Tomorrow (December 7) I will be sharpening blades ALL DAY, first wave of Christmas blades getting their final edge, so if you're wanting a knife sharpened then message me, drop it off, and I can have it ready for you by the end of the day. Prices are as follows on the following page: http://www.lakesideknives.ca/sharpening-service.html... As usual, if it's a knife I made, it's sharpened for free!!!!

Nice little boot knife! Love these knives! African blackwood, red and white fibre liners, polished blade, and hollow pins. This African blackwood is amazing!!! It polished up just like dymondwood (I actually think it looks better!) and it's naturally stabilized with its own resins. I haven't even put a coat of wax on it yet and it just shines off the buffer! Special order and spoken for!!

Last raised point this go around.... Starting to make a dent in the Christmas orders lately! Timberland dymondwood, hollow pins, red spacer, brass guard, 3.5" hollow ground blade....turned out pretty nice!!! Coffee time!!!

How about a raised point? For those who like a little more belly in the blade. This one is oldschool.... hollow ground blade with a padauk wood handle (receiving tru-oil finish these next few days), hollow pins, brass guard with red and white spacers. Onto some leather and off to its new owner for Christmas!

3rd drop point skinner done today....busy busy busy! Another Christmas order completed! Camo dymondwood handle, white spacer, brass guard, 3.5" hollow ground blade. These are a blast to make, as much as I pride myself in fillet knives, these are a nice change of pace.

Second drop point skinner I've ever made in this style...I'm really liking these! This is off to be put under a Christmas tree for a lucky husband as soon as I'm done the sheath. Handle is paisley dymondwood (black/blue/red) which I dug out of my personal stash since the first handle developed a crack, brass pinned guard, white fibre spacer, and hollow pins. I will be sad to see this one go, I really like it!

The last knife of 2017, another bootknife! The handle is Red and the stitching is Red on the sheath, the lighting is terrible hence why it looks pink ....and now I'm going to relax and see what 2018 will bring....

Another Christmas bootknife done.....this one is with Magnum Dymondwood and stainless hollow pins. Sheath will be black with red stitches....
