We are currently out of the office enjoying a family vacation to beautiful Prince Edward Island. Today we got serious antique envy at Green Gables. Washstands, trunks, and beautiful drop leaf tables galore!
Our Canada 150 Washstand is gearing up for a long trip down to Virginia!
Two months of stripping, sanding, staining, and painting. Unfortunately (for all of you) this baby is a keeper.
We dug this dresser out of the basement of an antique store in Lindsay for 60$ not knowing how much love it truly needed. Having been painted white over an interesting black (ish?) stain many many years ago it has taken us quite a bit of time and effort to restore this baby into something beautiful. Now to attach the mirror and find some adequate handles for this baby.
The hunt for the perfect handle can take forever when you have these amazing choices.
Peeling away the years
Taking off several years worth of paint and stain is probably the most difficult part of what we do. But at least we do it with beer.
Inspired by the true north strong and free
My mom knows how much I love a good roll top desk! Auctions are always so good to us!
Have no fear though. Because while we're away, our talented woodworker is alway at play.
